What can I expect on my first visit to your office?
The staff will assist you in gathering information, both financial and medical, for our office chart. Your doctor will examine you and discuss any additional tests he feels are necessary. If no further work is indicated, then he will discuss options of treatment to include medical as well as surgical. If the choice is surgery, the procedure will be precertified with your insurance company and scheduled accordingly.

- All of your medications.
- A list of known allergies, in particular drug allergies.

Can I expect any procedure to be done on my first visit?
If you have a minor procedure that can be done in the office, it may well be done on the initial visit if the doctor's schedule permits.
Will you file insurance claims for the first visit?
Yes. You will be expected to pay any deductible or co-payment on this visit.
What if I do not have any insurance coverage, Medicare, or Medicaid?
You will be expected to pay for the first visit. Our staff will assist you with possible financial solutions in the event you need further care.
If I have to have surgery, in which hospital will I be treated?
There are a number of considerations in selecting the hospital to be used.
- Does your insurance carrier require you to use a particular hospital?
- Is the hospital equipped to provide the service you need?
- The availability of time on the particular hospital's surgery schedule
- The ability of the doctor to mesh his existing schedule with the selected hospital.
Whenever possible we try to honor the patient's choice of the hospital to be used.
